Regular game this month

Hi all,

I have been lax (?) in updating the league but here it is. I can't sort on google docs, but as you can see, Dan and I are tied for first. The game this weekend is a regular NLH. See you then!!!!!

After a very long time it seems, we are on for tonight!

And they are off!!!

PKIV started rolling last night. Julie took down the first even with Rob B anf Gerrry rounding out the players in the money. Colin Mistakenly made off with bubble prize, leaving Deb short one chocolate bar. Meh, live and learn.

Next month is the $2 rebuy event. NOTE that the date is OCTOBER 16th.

Pokerknights IV starts this Friday.

Please arrive between 730 and 745 pm so that we can deal the first hand by 8pm.

Poker Knights IV is ready to go!

It's time!!!!!!!!! Although PK4 does not officially get underway until Sept 11, the details of the season are set. Handouts will be available at the non-league warm-up game on July 31, however, here are some highlights...

-We have gone back to the PK1 scoring system with one modification. Points are awarded to all players in reverse order of finish. Bonus points will be awarded to the top 3 finishers. +1 for third, +2 for second and +3 for first.

-This year's special events will include the following tournaments: Rebuy, Bounty, 5 Card Draw and Omaha Hi. All betting is No Limit.

-Poker Knights main form of communication is still Facebook. If you have not been invited to this group, contact Julie or Rob on Facebook.

-We will be experimenting with antes as part of the regular game to accelrate the action while keeping the blind structure from being too aggressive.

-Our big rule reminders for this year are, one player per hand, and don't discuss hands (or what you folded) while the hand is going on. This keeps the game friendly and fair.

2009-2010

Well folks, with PK3 in the books, we are hard at work setting up PK4. If you know of any Friday nights during the coming year that do not work for you please contact us, and we will take them into consideration. Every effort will be made to have a consistent day of the month.

The upcoming year will include No Limit Hold'em events, a Rebuy, a 5 card draw and an Omaha event. Check back for links on how to play Omaha. (it's not that different from Hold'em)

December is in the books.

It was a smaller night, with only 12 players, but we had fun.

Colin won in a spectacular 3 way final hand that saw myself finish second and Deb L. finish 3rd. 4th place points went to Gerry.
