Christmas Road Trip

Colin and Tracey did a fabulous job hosting the December event last weekend. A special thanks to Colin for his "high hand" rule, which likely contributed to the loose play. Although face cards seemed to avoid the board at all costs, we saw 3 different 4 of a kinds during the night.

Although I ended up winning, I have to admit that I got pretty lucky against Deb. With 2 aces appearing on the flop, I held a low flush draw. There was quite a bit in the pot already, so I attempted to bully Deb out of the hand. I thought it unlikely that she held an ace, but I had my flush draw as a back up. Unfortunately for me, she had the third ace, but I rivered my flush, knocking Deb out in 8th place.
