Thanks to Jenn for hosting the November game. Unfortunately, a miscommunication about date deprived us of Colin and Tracey.
December's game will be on the 2nd. We will be playing a casual 5 cent 10 cent cash game. Just like in our regular tournaments, there is no rake, so all money invested will be paid out to the players when they cash out. In terms of league rankings, it will be very straight forward.
The buy-in for the game is $5. You can rebuy, top up or cashout any time you want. At the end of the evening, we tally up your overall +/- and determine the order of finish for points.
There are a few special advantages to this format...
- The blinds never go up.
- If you want to step out for a while, you won't be dealt into hands (but if you miss a blind while you are gone, you have to post it or wait to be BB before getting a new hand)
- You can decide to be done for the night anytime you want.
- Cash game rules are in affect. If you are in a big hand and you want to run it more than once, no problem.
This is still regular Texas Hold'em, but instead of the usual Vegas style tournament experience, you get a Vegas style cash game experience. It should be a fun night. We plan to start at the usual time (back at our house this month), but since it is a cash game, don't worry if you are late.
See you on December 2nd.
