One of the most common errors I have made and continue to see other people make in home games, online and even on tv, is overvaluing suited cards.

The short of it is this: If 2 cards are not worth playing unsuited, then being suited really doesn't make them any better. The reason is because of the likely hood of hitting a nut flush when you are making a decision before the flop.
